Sole's folding treadmill frame design originated from the demand of hotels for a treadmill as mobile as a room service cart yet still stable and powerful. Other safety features include a large stop switch starts from only .05 mph and low-profile running hood. A great value. Additional features include cooling fans and speed and incline controls on the arm rests.

The treadmill console is user friendly with a vibrant display. The information that is displayed at all times include Speed Incline Time Distance Traveled Calories Pulse and Pace. There is also a 1/4 mile track feature and a Peak and Valley graph for different programs. We have had the treadmill for about 2 months now. This is the first treadmill we have had. I did quite a bit of research before hand and am very pleased with it. It is incredibly sturdy, for one. The controls are easy to use, although we only use the "manual" one so far. You can adjust the incline and the speed incrementally from the side rails as well as presets on the main console. It has cup holders and compartments within easy reach. Nice for the remote control on my tv!

The setup for this, I would say, definitely requires 2 people. It is VERY heavy. My husband and another big guy put it together pretty quickly. They did complain about lining up some of the predrilled holes. His friend used to have a treadmill and was in awe of how great this one is!

The actual machine is just so sturdy and seems very durable. We set it up in a place where we don't have to move it so cannot comment on its portability. However, this was a big selling point for me for if we do need to move it.

I like that the treadmill has so many settings that I imagine it could work for someone out of shape or someone training for a marathon. Love it!

I have had this treadmill for a year now and the Sole F80 has performed great. I run about 9 miles a week on it and have had no problems at all. My only dislike is the operator control bar is set a tad bit too far forward and this allows the runner to step on the plastic covering the front of the belt if he runs that far up on the belt, but ive avoided that by not running that far up so its really not a big deal. I recommend anyone wishing to buy a sturdy treadmill with the best warranty out there to buy the Sole F80.

I haven't used it long enough to give it a full shake down (6 workouts), but so far I am loving my Sole F80. Its solid build gives me total confidence in using it. I will have to work with the programs and controls long enough to know how to manipulate them in detail; the user manual could use a lot more examples in use of the keys.

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt, however, we live on a ridge in the boondocks and the driver of the 14-wheeler wasn't willing to drive up the ridge road. I had to have him unload it into the back of my old pickup truck and deliver it to the house myself. Believe me, the boxed Sole F80 is heavy and hard to handle; I have my own two-wheel cart and was able to complete the delivery. I found minor shipping damage I was able to fix easily myself with no after effects. All is well that ends well.

I used this daily to maintain my current weight. This unit is a total upgrade from my Proform treadmill which doesn't hold up as the years go by. Replaced my Proform unit after only six years. Sole F80 cost more but has a lifetime warranty on the motor, deck, and frame. This is unheard of from any other treadmill. Also, they have 5 years warranty on the electronics, wear items and a 2 year labor guarantee. Wow!! I research this unit before buying and came to know that this is one of the best unit out there on the market. So far, I am quite please.

Delivery was prompt and arrived in good condition.
By the way, forget the white glove delivery. Have it dropped off at the front and tipped the delivery people. They will be more than willing to bring the treadmill in the house and unpack unit for you. You save a lot of money doing it this way!!!

I use this treadmill everyday for at least 30 min. each time. My husband will occasionally use it as well. We have had it since December of 07. Each of us can easily run on it and the ride is smooth even at its highest speed. The only thing that I do not like about it is that sometimes the speed control is sloe in going up or down. I used the treadmill for my weight loss and am now using it to train for a run coming up soon. We also like it for its safety measures (we have 3 small children at home).

After the birth of my 4th child in a span of 6 years my weight would not budge. When the baby was 6 months old I bought this treadmill weighing 5lbs more than I did when I gave birth! Working out only 20min a day 6 days a week doing a high/low run/walk workout - I dropped 40lbs in 5 months!! My husband was worried it would become an expensive clothes rack but he's so glad I got it! I am 5'10" and the wide/long belt is very nice to run on. The machine is quiet and I just take the emergency magnet off and put it up high when I'm done to keep the kids safe. The monthly interest free payment was the same I would have spent at a gym w/ childcare per month and I found I never had an excuse not to work out - even at 11pm some days! As sturdy as any treadmill I've used at the gym.
